Are multiples of photographs considered reproductions?

If multiples are the norm for the art form, then those multiples are considered originals. For example, if an artist printed an edition of photographs, intaglios, silkscreens, or woodcuts, each piece within the edition would be considered an original.

How large is the Christian Life Center

The exhibition building is approximately 196' x 54', and can easily accommodate thirty artists. The CLC also adjoins spacious meeting areas and classrooms that can be used for additional booths should demand necessitate.

Can I display giclees? Notecards?

Yes, as long as reproductions are no more than 20% of your inventory.

Is there a fee for the space?

The fee is $20, and is payable upon acceptance into the festival. There is no commission on sales. Our primary goal is to have a successful art festival that will, with time, become a community-wide event.

Can I pay the fee before I've been accepted?

Some artists say they'd rather pay the reservation fee ahead of time, so that they know that their registration is complete. Any artist can pay at the time of registration. If the artist is not accepted into the festival, his/her money will be refunded on or before April 1, 2012.

Will chairs be available for the artist to sit on?

Yes.

I don't have enough work to fill a 10' x 10' space. Can I share a space with another artist?

Yes. However, the $20 reservation fee must be in one artist's name. Please do not submit two $10 payments on separate accounts.

Will there be a wall to hang my paintings on?

Each artist will be provided one uncovered table for the display of artwork. The artist may also bring additional tables, easels, portable wall units, shelves, easels, or print racks to fill out the exhibition area.
